Is anyone applying to Community College of Baltimore County, CCBC, Nursing Program for Spring 2017?
This is the beginning of January. I checked CCBC forum for Spring 2016 and saw that some of the students that were waitlisted fwere contacted on the 6th and 9th of January 2016. We are in this same week and i still haven't heard anything. Contacting the school for information is useless because they wont give it out. I spoke to the Nursing advisor for my position on the wait list but i didn't receive any helpful information. SMH... we have no choice but to continue to wait. This is like 3 months of waiting!
I feel the exact same way! It's really nerve wrecking and a little unfair. I asked my position as well and was told they arent allowed to disclose that information. I also asked how big the waitlist was and they said they could not tell me that either. It's just frustrating because its so close to the start of the semester and we still don't know anything so it's hard to plan for anything.
Exactly. It sounds crazy but I already went ahead and purchase some of books needed for the program. I have been studying a lot during the break. I Aready have my stethoscope, blood pressure cuffs and other necessities. Lol I don't like doing things in the last minutes. I also heard that nursing school have a long shopping lists. Therefore, we need to get ready financially. I have been doing that. I'm now just waiting for the result.
Oh man, you are definitely prepared. I haven't done any of that Yeah I'm the same way, I hate doing things last minute which is why this wait is making me so stressed out. I'm going to look at the book list and see if I can get some books and any other supplies I may need. Where did you see the supplies needed?
On Google, type CCBC online bookstore catonsville. If your location is Essex, then type Essex. Then select spring 2017, and scroll down to nursing. Then I went to CCBC online bookstore and choose nursing 153. I purchased the books cheap on Amazon. Also try eBay. My stethoscope and BP cuff was also purchased on Amazon. Stethoscope is from Littman and BP cuff is from Prestige medical. I have been told it is very important to invest in stethoscope so that you can hear. Some stethoscope are so cheap that u can't even hear anything.

Not sure. Its probably based on how much availability the university's have. Stevenson won't give me admissions until they see this semester's grades.
