CCBC FALL 2021 Pre-Nursing Student

Hello everyone,

I decided to start this thread for people who are applying to the CCBC FALL 2021 nursing program.

Specializes in Pediatrics.

So I emailed SHP, and they said we should know their decision in 2 weeks or less!! Oh my gosh!!

The anxiety is really real at this point! But we did the work! Now for them to tell us we’ve been accepted! ????

I was able somehow to pull up where we used to be able to see our applications on simon, and mine has changed to "decision made, email to follow" !! I am so anxious! I don't know how I got to that page but I did

Yeah, the new Simon sure added some unnecessary stress, LOL. I checked and mine says the same!

Ahhh! im so nervous! How did you get to that part? have you found an easier way to do it? LOL

I sure didn’t. Had to create a new student account again with new Id and pin. Once I did that I was able to access my previous supplemental application.

I’m jumping on the waiting bandwagon! I applied to the Hybrid program at CCBC, accelerated at Harford and one ABSN at Notre Dame. 
I can’t figure out how to access the Selective admissions app to check on it! The old system was so much easier....

I wish you all the best with your applications! Yes, the old system did feel more user friendly. You have to go there and go through the prompts to create a new account as a new student. It won't affect you. It will also make you fill out anew supplemental application. But once you get to the end of that it will give you an error message, since you already have a supplemental application and are not actually a new student. Once that happens; you'll have access to the supplemental application you had created for your nursing application. Hope that makes sense somehow for you somehow, LOL.

I had to do all that too! I got the error message and then couldn't do anything else! Ahhhhh!

Also, good luck to everyone! I applied for hybrid and I cant wait to hear back!

Try to sign back in, with the id and pin you created ( enter it after you log into Simon and go to the selective admissions section), and Thank you!

this worked for me!! thanks!! what do they do with the other application? That shows on mine now as a new student

I believe nothing, since it’s not valid.
