I also applied for the day program but was waitlist :( I'm honestly not sure how long I will be waitlisted for? Does anyone know someone who has been on the waitlist and have any suggestions?

To any one who was waitlisted, you'll likely be contacted on or after April 13th. This is the day that seat fees are due. So if some are left unpaid, you might have a chance then.

I got my acceptance email for Essex daytime!! YAYYY! Still waiting to hear back about ATB with Towson.

GPA 3.02, TEAS 78.7%, currently taking Nutrition & STAT.

To those waitlisted:

I had a friend that was waitlisted for Spring 2019, they found out about waitlist on 10/23...she got a call from the nursing department on 11/15.

Like people have said previously, those with seat fees have until 4/13 to pay it or forego the seat. You could here back sooner if people decline seats sooner than that since it is a whole 4 weeks to sit on the decision.

Good Luck to all! Keep trying if this time doesn't pan out, I know it's stressful; this was my second round. I retook my TEAS (went from 76 to an 82), and finished my last pre req.

If I'm hearing you right, your question is will SHP let you know if you were denied acceptance into the program. They did not include that information in the email that I received. However, I would like to think that they would send an email stating that you didn't make it into the program if that is the case. If that is the case, and you really want to continue on with nursing, don't be discouraged like so many others have said. There are many different tracks for getting into the field of nursing. It doesn't mater how you get there, it just matters that you make it to your end goal.
