I don't know how the wait list works- because I wasn't wait listed when I applied. However, I wanted to let you guys know. That the essex (and I'm sure catonsville as well) Spring 2020 start class (the ones that are finishing their first semester now) were offered to withdraw and start again in the fall if they wanted. They have until 5/10 I believe to withdraw and they will not have to pay again to start in the fall. However- if they fail any of their classes and need to repeat in the fall they will have to pay tuition again.
What does this mean for you?- Your class size will probably be large. Quite large. The accepted class that started this past semester (essex day program) started at 75 students at orientation. They currently have around 49.
I am not sure how this affects the wait-listed people as the students who chose to withdraw get a guaranteed seat in the fall. Just wanted to give you guys a heads up.
I don’t know what they are waiting for. We already had our first orientation. I feel like they should have said something by now. Some one before mentioned them reaching out after finals for the Spring semester. You might want to check back with them.
