Hello everyone!! I finally have been verified on the CAS website and all I have to do is wait!! I got a 77 on my teas with 71 on reading section..., also 3.4 overall and 3.65 science gpa. I go to Towson university but earned an associates degree at ccbc. I also applied to Towsons' ATB program and i'm currently finishing up my last 3 prerequisites at Towson university: Stats, micro and nutrition. I'm hoping to get in and start this fall 2016!!! My friend also applied but she got a 64 on the reading section and overall 79 on her TEAS. Is there anyone who got in with a low reading section? I really want hope she gets in! share your teas scores and stats! hope to meet everyone =]
Ha! This will be the least thing you stress about once you get in. I am in my second semester Essex E/W program and am doing the FSU ATB. So far it is doable. Challenging; say 12+ chapters in a week. You have to study to pass; the non-studiers do fail.
Don't stress about getting in, they need students. It is a very stressful, challenging program, especially if you work. 14 months and I'll be done. I cannot wait.
Good Luck
Hi, I'm going to apply to Ccbc this coming spring, I hve 2.9 gpa and 2 Cs in science classes and I hve profiecnt in my teas but my reading is 67 however many people are telling me they won't accept you if your reading is less than 69. Do you guys know if anyone who got accepted have less than 69 in reading and got accepted. I took it two times tho still the same.
I have a 2.9 gpa as well. I am enrolled in ap I and redoing micro this fall. I am scheduling to take my teas soon as well. I actually have a meeting tomorrow to see what i need to do to apply for the nursing program. I am really nervous because of my GPA. hopefully i will get an awesome TEAS score and that will help. I want to attend next fall
My teas reading is low to how about 59.5 IDK what is going to happen. I spoke to someone in the shp department and she said they don't even consider you app for review if reading is below 69. I don't want to believe her and I am going to keep my faith that we both get in. My GPA science is 3.3 and overall prerequisite 3.1 so it doesn't make sense to not even review it. I did fairly well on science and English which clearly shows I can read and comprehend. I'm so nervous and anxious about this all it is so stressful not knowing the unknown if that is true about the reading I think they need to update that part to required instead of recommend those two words have different meanings is.

Unless you took CPR for Healthcare Providers it wouldn't be approved. It would say it on your card.
