CCBC Essex, Nursing Fall 2017

Hello Friends,

I am sure that many of you might have already applied for the nursing program at CCBC. I just submitted my application for ATB nursing day program for fall 2017 at CCBC Essex. Hey Everyone! Bumping this so if you are interested you can download Figure 1. It is a wonderful case sharing app, almost like Instagram for medical folks. I love it and have seen some super cool things. All the the users are amazingly helpful and responsive to questions and discussion.

Hi all, just wanted to see how everyone is doing. I had my last pre-req final yesterday, I am so relieved but also anxiously awaiting my grades. Has anyone found any new info about registering for our nursing classes. I tried to register but it wouldnt let me, also when you try to look up the text books on the bookstore website it says they are not available.

I think we get registered at orientation next week. I'm wondering how much uniforms will cost us.

I think we will get registered during orientation as well, I want to say I read that somewhere!

The last email said that uniform costs approximately run between $120-$130. Which has to be paid in order to order the uniforms that day

I was thinking about buying only one scrub bottom and then trying to match colors at a local store just to save $$$. Dropping that much at once is a little tight for me, do you think we will have the opportunity to buy more uniforms throughout the program?

So I think you should invest in the top instead because they are embroidered with "CCBC Nursing" and the bottoms are just plain. So Im sure those will be a little easier to find! In a previous thread I read that someone had ordered directly from the Flynn & O'hara store in Towson later on (thats the company the school used for uniforms last yr, which may still be the same). She said that helped her save a couple $$ on shipping costs.

Yeah of course!!! I checked in their website and it looks like tops are about $34 e/a.

Yes Im super excited for orientation it will def sink in that it is real then !!

Hi, I'm currently entering my last semester at ccbc. I'd be happy to offer some guidance or encouragement to any of you!

Don't even worry! If you get in to ccbc you can join Towson at any point after the first semester!
