Has anyone taken the entrance exam? What was your score and are you applying for May/June 2020 at the Reno campus?

Yes ma’am! I am anxiously waiting by my phone. I got a 282/300, so a 94% overall. You?

I spoke the school yesterday and they’ll start making calls next week! There have been a few setbacks. So you can breathe a little easier knowing that ?

Actually they called this morning and I’m in! ? I’m guessing that means you are too!
Have anyone heard back from Reno Carrington for financial and registration to start the RN program this year. School starts next month and I haven't received any call?

Are you in night classes? If so, you should be contacted soon! Day class is done now.
OK thanks. I will wait and see then. ?

Hello I am applying to Carrington Sacramento for their LVN/RN transition program. I was wondering which study books should I get? Please advise thank you.
Are talking about study books for the entrance exam? If so, the Kaplan Nursing Entrance 2020 book is a great one. The writing portion has the same format as the entrance exam. I also used several different nursing entrance books such as TEAS study guide/books along with grammar books (Barron's grammar).
Math: You just need to know your basic math - word problems, fractions, decimals. Be familiar with it.
0.1 = to what %?
55 divide by 5 = ?
1/4 of 25 = ?
English Reading/writing: Know your grammars, punctuations, commas, misspelled words, and will ask you to define words.
Science: Know how the body system works such as blood, heart, mitosis, etc.

Hi all! For those currently in the program what does the schedule look like? I thought I saw that its Monday-Friday for only a few hours starting out. Is this still the same with all the COVID stuff? I'm an hour and a half drive from the Reno campus so just trying to get all the info I can. I have an information session on Thursday but I'm a little too excited and impatient. Thanks in advance!
