Carrington LVN program

Updated:   Published

I am planning to attend Carrington LVN program in July. it is a 12 month program. the cost is very high, which I am willing to pay for it. but I want to know if anyone graduate from there recently? how hard was it to find a job? I know that Carrington doesnt help you to find job after you graduate from there. I also want to go for LVN to ADN program after that. I know carrington has programs like that, which I can apply. but can I apply to public college like sac state, sierra. sac city or arc? please help. I am very confused. Thank you.

Your prereqs taken at Carrington will not transfer to community or State college. However, you'll be able to complete them a lot faster than you would at a community college.

You mentioned the fact that Cartington has an LVN to RN program and they do and it's relatively short compared with going through the public college system.

If you want, you could obtain your LVN from Carrington then take all your prereqs for the RN program at Community College and attend a bridge there. That's what I'm doing...but my decision was easy to make because I already had completed most of my prereqs at community college before attending private school to become an LVN.
