Career Training Solutions in VA

Is anyone currently attending this school? I'm going to be relocating to VA within the next few months and was wondering what current students think of the RN program. About how many students are there per class? Is there a waiting list? About how much does the program cost?

I have been trying to get information from the recently graduated class, but no replies. I am starting to wonder....

Makes me wonder about this program too! I see that people talk about the Medical Careers Institute but not CTS. The only problem for me is that the MCI campuses aren't very close to Fredericksburg. Hmm, I guess i'll have to check out the nearby schools once I move out there.

I am planning to apply to NOVA and Germana. I had a longer list of choices, but I spoke with the educational coordinator where I work now and she shortened the list right up for me. She didn't know what to say about CTS, which I am considering as a backup plan if I can't get into a community college (long line of folks applying to those). You should check out Germana, which is near Fredericksburg. Also, take a look at Southside Regional Medical Center http://www.srmconline.com/Our%20Schools/Pages/Our%20Schools.aspx , which is not as close, but I have heard some good things about the program. Good luck!

I forgot to mention that SRMC has an asynchronus distance classroom portion alternative for folks who are out of the area. Clinicals are of course in the area. :)

Thank you so much for the information! :D I'm going to check out SRMC. I'm glad to see that there are quite a few options for nursing, but that the decision on which school to choose doesn't have to be all too complicated. I'm definately going to have to look into the local community colleges because I have a few prereqs to take before applying to a program.
