Hi Everyone
I'm a South African studying in the US on a sports scholarship. I'm really keen on a career in nursing as I found the work exciting and I think my personality will be a good fit for the profession too.
I haven't applied to the nursing program at my school yet as I'm very concerned that I won't be able to get work sponsorship in the us and I will have to return to South Africa after graduating. Nurses are terribly paid in South Africa and the working conditions are deplorable. I'm also not certain that the South African Nursing council will approve my BSN.At the moment I'm an accounting major and while I'm doing well I don't find the work exciting.
Do international students find work easily in the US after graduation or do they have to go home and work?I will graduate in 2017. I just want to make a smart decision here for my future and any help would be greatly appreciated.
