career counselor

I think what I really need is a career councelor. I just got my license in October and I still do not know what I want to do with my nursing career. I am trying to figure out what type of nursing suits me the best. Out of haste in looking for a job, I have accepted a job in a nursing home but I know that I do not want to stay there.

Is there a list anywhere that says what types of places employ nurses? ie. industrial plants, insurance companies etc.

I am willing to take extra courses but I don't want to go back to school full time either.

Help!!!

There are lots of places to check for all kinds of Nursing Jobs on the internet...Type in Nurse Jobs......I found a lot of info in just the Yahoo directory. Lots of search engines you can check ...might give you all kinds of ideas what field you want to get into.

I am a RN living in Atlanta, & I am searching for a Nursing Career Coach/ Counselor to help me come up with some career ideas & to make a transition out of pt. care nursing. Can anyone help guide me to a career advisor who specializes in my type of situation? Or is there such thing? Thanks for all your help!- Lisa
