thank you! started OR a couple weeks ago. There's no time to mess around, people is in a hurry, pt is sedated and time is running, filling out papers, collecting specimens, being careful with sterile field/technique, being attentive to dr's requesting stuff while they mumble or have an accent......AAANnnnD expecting me to be entertaining!! HA! Last time I checked I did not graduate as a freaking clown! It's a nightmare...but I've never been a quitter!! Either I learn this s*** or I die! lol

Hello!
I'm new to the website. Trying to find some advice...
New RN in CA trying to decide whether to accept a position as Circulator RN (OR), or Home Health RN.
I have an ADN, currently working on BSN. My goal is to work in critical care, but none of that will happen until I get a few years experience and chances for m/s, step down, or tele are just not happening despite applying everywhere (they all need a 1yr experience...or BSN).
Which position would give me the best background for tele or ICU??
thank you!!
