Hello
I am currently working in the IT field. I have no college education. I am 25, right out of highschool I was working full time.
For the past few years I really wanted to become a RN but with my bills situation I couldnt go to school.
I was looking into MGHIP at the accelerated BSN.. I took a look at the prereq's.. a few courses. Is this Accelerated BSN for current Bachelors degree holders?
Could I take this program with my lack of college edu? I know Id need to take the prereq's.
Im kind of lost at where to start, especially since I have no previous college experience so the whole process has got me

Welcome to allnurses! :balloons: You will find lots of good info and support/encouragement on this site.
Typically, accelerated BSN programs are intended for people who already have a baccalaureate degree in something else (not nursing). However, there are many paths into nursing -- you can look into "generic" BSN programs and ADN programs at community colleges. Some people choose to pursue LPN education (shorter than RN education) and licensure, and then complete an LPN-to-RN program while working as an LPN.
I'm sure that the student advisors in the various schools of nursing near you would be happy to schedule an appointment to meet with you and give you some concrete, specific information. Best wishes for your journey! :)
