I am just searching for some information on carcinoid tumors of the pancreas. Info on Carcinoid tumors not hard to find...just not pancreatic type. Specific info I am interested in is Survival, insulin production and treatment. Any info would be greatly appreciated. I am a hospice nurse and have a patient with this type of tumor.(Also mets to liver) Family is telling me that this tumor is not deadly according to the out of state oncologist, but the local doctor telling me otherwise. Please help me have accurate info!! Thanks

Thank you so much for the links. They were very helpful and gave me all the answers I was looking for. Not sure this is what the family would like to hear, but glad to know for sure. Thanks again:)
