any canadians who have or are doing an ADN in the states?

Im a canadian citizen and planning on moving to miami (planning to go down on a student visa - not immigrating) to complete an ADN. I have a cousin down there who has graciously offered to let me live with her rent-free while i'm in school, and so this arrangement actually works out cheaper (and faster) than if i was to do a bsn here in canada, even inclusive of upgrading online to a bsn after I get my RN.

Just wanted to get some feedback from any other canadians who have gone this route. If you could share your experience with this path, pitfalls, etc, please share.
