Has anyone gone to the Canadian Valley LPN program?? I was in RN school for two semesters, family tragedy and had to withdrawal after the 2nd semester and have had a hard time getting back in. I am having to start back in 1st semester. I got into this program. I am starting May 5 and am hoping to have it done and start 3rd semester in January. If anyone has experience please let me know. I have been a tech for 2 years, an EMT, AUA and 2 semesters of RN school. Your thoughts please.

I am Ina same boat , I finished third semester RN and I am changing to lpn . Are you already in Canadian valley program or just applying as I am ?

i wish I started here three years ago . I am trying to begin with the next available classes I can enroll

Xina good luck..I'm starting a week from today!

I just passed my TEAS exam to get into the LPN program at Canadian Valley last week and turned in my application on Thursday! :) Congrats and good luck everyone! I'm taking an accelerated CNA course there that stars in a little over a week. I'm hoping to get some experience and find employment that will give me the 24 hour minimum attendance requirements.

Hows everyone liking it?

Loving it! Best thing I did! I'll be finishing up here in a couple months and cannot wait to be an LPN:) I plan to go back to school in a year or so to get my RN and I feel like going through this program will put me at a great advantage with the knowledge I've acquired. :)

How long is it taking you to complete the program

It'll be 1 year in August. The curriculum isn't bad at all. It's the clinicals that takes the majority of the time

I love it so much! I agree. Best decision I've ever made. I love being able to accelerate at my own pace and slow down when I need to. I just started pharmacology and I'm so grateful to be able to slow down, because it has been a little overwhelming for me so far. I'm super excited/nervous to start clinicals in a few weeks! I started February 1st

Do you think you'll be done in August?

I'm excited to start in July she said I may have the option the skip A&P because I've already taken it a college is that a good idea?

Yes! I got advanced standing in A&P as well! If you feel like you're a little rusty in those subjects it could help to review them on your own before you start! And I'll definitely be done in August:)
