Hello,
I have been planning on going to California for the last 6 years, I have literally done everything short of getting a job, including finishing school, doing my emergency specialty, passing the nclex, getting my license and my visa screen certificate. I have known about California's laws regarding nursing school clinical hours, however i was told the other day they require 135 hours in peds, maternity and psych... and according to my nursing school, i dont have that many hours. Im devistated!! I have heard of people being rejected before upon attempting to endorse to California for not having enough clinical hours. Does anyone know if this information is correct? Is there ANY way around this? How strict are they? Is it worth attempting to endorse anyways and see what happens? I dont know what to do... any advise would help so much!
