Hi ; I'm presently living in Florida with my husband and son. My husband is working here.
I have been contemplating whether I should practise nursing in the USA.
I have not done the nclex yet, not sure if I want to practise here. After reading some of the posts, it appears down right scary:o Is there no standard with the regards to the nurse/patient ratio? I've read in California they do have a nurse/patient ratio.
In the acute care in Florida, what is the RN/patient ratio? What about in LTC, is there a RN/patient ratio?
Kind Regards,
Tweety, BSN, RN
