Hello All,
I know this topic is already posted but the only one i could find was about 8 years old and i just wanted more current information.
I am a Canadian RN, but I've always wanted to travel and live abroad in the UK, i know living expenses are more and someone told me that pay was less, and i am okay with both of these things as I have been saving for this for some time. But i was wondering if anyone knew about typical culture shock and experiences people feel? Plus, I have no idea how to figure out what band pay i would be classified as, any tips to figure it out.
I also needs ideas/tips on how to get the ball rolling, its such a big idea that I don't really know where to start or where to go...? Any suggestions for good places to live and nurse? or anywhere people know hire international nurses? I always pictured myself in scotland somewhere thats originally where my grandparents are from.
Any tips from a fellow nurse who has worked internationally?
Anything and everything helps!
Thanks in advance!

NMC is a starting point and get registered as a RN. Generally you start at Band 5 and then work way up as you go for promotion.
Check out NHS jobs website for jobs once you have NMC sorted and you decide where in the UK you want to live and work.
