Canadian RN looking for travel company in US

I am new to travel nursing, hoping to start in the new year. My fiance has had contracts in both oregon and california over the past 1 1/2 years and I have decided it is time to go with him when he starts his new contract in Portland in the new year. I am a Canadian RN and have also obtained a license to practice in Oregon (which took me over 8 months, hence doing it myself as opposed to waiting until I had contacted agencies). I am a med-surg float nurse in teaching hospitals in Ontario Canada.

I was wondering which travel nursing companies are known to deal with Canadian RNs. I have read forum posts on here where the agency may not help with visa, etc, which it not a huge deal as I have been through helping others put together their TN visa applications so I am familiar with the requirements. Despite this, I would still hope to deal with an agency that has experience with Canadian RNs. I know CrossCountry and AM (and NursesRx, and O'Grady Payton, as well) have a section on their websites for Canadian RNs. I have read more negative comments related to the so-called "evil empire" than positive comments, but they seem to be one of the companies that have a section on their website for Canadian RNs.

Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Stay away from American Mobile at all cost...Cross Country is the lesser of two evils and don't tend to steal $ from you outright. Check with Emerald, Medical Connections, Flexcare and Nurses in Partnership, Aces and Fast Staff.
