I am considering moving to Ontario and thinking of taking the Canadian exam. I have Visa Screen Certificate and passed NCLEX-RN. Will this help me somehow for the evaluation with the Canadian Association?
Thank you in advance

No, not really. You might want to take some time to browse through the threads on this forum and read of the expereinces of others who have already started the process. The NCLEX means nothing to Canadian regulatory bodies; you'll have to write the Canadian Registered Nurse Exam, about which there are probably hundreds of posts here. After you've read all of them I'm sure you'll have more questions, so come on back!
Thank you, janfrn! I looked at few of your replies. You are very competent and helpful! I am going to do my homework :)
my plans have changed. We are thinking of the immigration papers as well. Which is faster, applying for immigration as a spouse or as a nurse?
Regards
Oh, that's a tough one. I can't really answer it, not being an expert on immigration matters. Maybe somone else will have the goods on that. I'd guess it would be faster to emigrate as a spouse (but beware, there will be a lot of questions and innuendo about your marriage!) but if you plan to work as a nurse, you should start that process as soon as you can, because it will take a LONG time. Congratulations on your impending marriage, and good luck with your quest!
