canadian lpn moving to the U.S.

Published

Hi,

1) I am currently an LPN student, and I've been researching everywhere on how an LPN can move to the united states. I understand that an RN can move there with there NCLEX. But has there been any canadian LPN that was able to move to the states?

2) If not, is it possible for a canadian LPN to get into a bridging school to get their RN? If there is a canadian student that has moved there already and accomplished this, please let me know which school they went to/what steps they did to apply.

Thank you!

To work in the US via the TN visa you would need to be an RN. A bridging program would require a nursing license for that state first likely.
