Canadian Blood Services or Gen Sx

I am a RN who has worked for five years on Medical Wards and I am looking for a change. I hate night shifts, so am looking for days and evenings. I was offered a job on a general surgery ward and also a job at Canadian Blood Services and I am torn over which one to pick. Just wondering if anyone out there has worked for blood services and how they liked it? Is it the type of job that would be repetitive and boring or is it challenging and stimulating? Any advice appreciated!

An ex co worker of mione works there. She like it. She is PT. She did say that she was worried about job security because they were moving the RN's to a more supervisory role. That was 1.5 yrs ago, she still works there.

Have you decided?

What would your shifts be like?

Do you have to work in the mobile clinics?

If I were you I would give it a try?

How does the pay compare to hospital?
