I am a 27 y.o. with an education degree. I am currently taking A&P through Athabasca U in order to fulfill a prerequisite for Norquest's LPN program/u of Alberta's prepreq of A&P.
My dilemna is this:
My gpa is only 3.0 and I am not sure if I should take the LPN program through Norquest so I can complete it online and work simultaneously. Then, bridge with Athabasca after working as an LPN for a year.
OR
Keep taking prereqs for U of A's after degree and apply this year (although my AGPA is really low compared to those who get accepted) and if I don't get in, keep upgrading to boost my AGPA.
I am curious about what the accepted AGPA has been for the Edmonton vs Camrose programs. Please let me know what your AGPA was when you got accepted and if you went to the Edmonton or Camrose one.
Any suggestions or advice would be much appreciated!
