My question is can you take the board exam if your school Signifies that the school is approved to begin a Vocational Nursing program, but not yet accredited?
I am currently deciding which career I would choose either LVN OR RT.Is it possible to take the board exam if the school is not yet accredited?

LVN/LPN schools all need to be approved by a state BON (Board Of Nursing); however, they do not need to be accredited. Accreditation is something extra and recommended, but your LPN school doesn't necessarily need to be accredited in order for you to take NCLEX. As long as your LPN program is state approved, you can sit for the state boards.
