im so confused i failed two of my prerequisit classes to be admitted to the nursing program does that mean i cant be a nurse. from what ive heard if u fail anatomy and micobio u cant be admitted to the nursing program, does that mean that if i apply to another school i wont be admitted help please? im confused.

Well, if you had problems with those courses to the extent that you failed them, it just isn't going to get any easier. If it were me, I'd really look into what caused you to fail them and see if you can get some help and take them over until you can be successful if you truly want to get into a good nursing school.

To get into our school, one definitely needed good grades in the prerequisites. At least A's or B's would make it more likely you would be accepted. Most nursing schools are very competitive and good grades in these classes are a given.

And again, academics will only get more rigorous once your'e accepted. Maybe take a look at your study skills, test taking methods, etc. Try your school's counseling center and see if they can offer help. Microbiology and A & P are very hard, but so are the courses in school. Maybe you just need some help with study, note taking skills, etc.

In nursing school you will take labs, pathophysiology, pharmacology -- it just doesn't get any easier, only harder. But, don't get discouraged -- find out why your'e having so much trouble -- help is out there.
