What is the difference between CVVH, CVVHDF, and all the others. Are they just techincal difficulties. Also, how long will a patient remain on CVVH, with no improvment of kidney function, until the Doc recommends dialysis.

here is u r answer
there are types of vascular access avfistula ,internal jugularvein ,femoral vein
when we use avfistula the type of dialysis continous arterio venous hemodialysis(CAVHD)
hemodialysis =ultrafiltration is =HDF
CAVHDF = continous arterio venous hemodiaultrafiltration
CVVH = continous veno venous hemodialysis(only vein is used eg :jugular or femoral)
CVVHDF = continous venous venous hemodiaultrafiltration
