Can PMHNPs bill for psychotherapy?

I am having s debate with a colleague. He swears that PMHNPs do not do therapy, just med management and cannot bill for therapy. Is this correct?

Does it depend at all what state you are in? Or is it pretty much the same across the board?

We can also do therapy along with med management in our visits.
