Can an LPN in WA State draw arterial blood?

I'm still a nursing student and was not able to find a clear answer anywhere online. Could someone let me know if it is within the scope of an LPN do perform this? Thanks!

In Lousiana we can not draw blood!! When you get your license a small book will come with it telling your scope of practice.

I am an LPN in an ER in WA. In my facility LPNs are allowed to draw venous blood and start IVs. The arterial draws are actually the responsibility of Respiratory Therapy or if they are unsuccessful on of our Docs will draw it.
