Why would an MD employ someone to do a skill he is trained to do, when he would have to directly supervise you while you were doing it?
Not exactly worth the salary when he has to watch you while you do it! The reason the scope of RNs increased to be able to give Botox was so that MDs had more time for other more in depth procedures.

Can an LPN do Botox injections? I live in AZ and the scope of practice here says I can but it has to be under supervision of a MD.is it difficult to find a MD that will mentor me and show me the ropes of the industry?
