Can I be a transfer student but also obtain an ADN?

My college has 2 plans. Plan A is for students preparing for a vocational career.

Plan B is for students that want to transfer to a 4 yr university.

Could I actually do Plan B but also apply to a 2 yr nursing program.

I want an ADN first.

Then a BSN.

If you get your ADN, you'd then take the NCLEX, get your RN license and then do a year RN-->BSN program.

If you are asking if you can do both at the same time, you can't. Like Chelsea said, you have to complete the ADN program and then transition. The reason is you will have to be accepted into one of the programs. Your gen-ed classes will transfer but a 2 yr program and a 4 year program are laid out differently. There are classes in the BSN program that are not offered in the ADN program. A 4 four college won't accept you if you are already involved in a different program. A transition is only offered to those who have already have an ADN. You have to establish yourself as a nurse to apply (meaning you have to pass the boards). Either way, you have to be accepted into one of the programs.
