I currently go to CSUB and I am in the nursing program, can I transfer to CSU Hayward into the nursing program? Or will I have to begin the whole nursing program over again?

I don't know about your particular program. But back when I was in nursing school (BSN programs), I was not happy with my first choice and transfered to another school. I was so glad I did. I refer to it as my 10,000 dollar detour but it was well worth it. I could have saved the money had I done more research on the nursing schools before I started. I was happy with my final destination. It was a smaller private school much more supportive of its nursing students and I received a much better education as a result. I think most nursing schools will accept classes from another...your best bet is to speak with a counsler at the school your interested in transferring too.

Since those colleges are in the same system, your grades and credits should transfer no problem. The only thing is that since all the programs are impacted, you might have to get readmitted to the other program and maybe wait a bit of time. But no, you shouldn't have to repeat classes you've already taken, nursing or otherwise.
