Hi In June 2013 I graduated from my nursing program in Virginia. I had no previous health care experience going to school. I took my NCLEX twice and failed. I was super discouraged so I just moved on with life and moved to New York. Any way I shouldn’t have given up I should of kept taking the NCLEX and kept fighting.
Well it’s been almost 10 years now and I’ve been working as a PCA in a hospital. I am now feeling more confident and want to fight again to pass the NCLEX. Is it possible after all this time or am I out of luck? I would deff do tons of practice exams and study before retaking just to get ready again. Thank you for any help or advice to make this work!

You would have to contact the BON of the state where you want your license. LIkely you would have to do a refresher course. Many states have limitations on how long after you graduate you can still continue to test.

Are you studying for the RN or the LPN NCLEX?
RN
I am still struggling to pass this RN exam. I honestly wish I passed before it changed to this NGN version.
