Hi everyone! I'm a new grad RN with an active California license, and I just got offered a job in Colorado. Is it possible to keep my CA license active while working in CO? If so, what steps do I need to take to maintain it?

Yes, you can continue to maintain your CA license. You would simply need to meet the requirements to be able to renew each time it expires:

  • 30 hours of CE
  • Fingerprint submission
  • Report any disciplinary actions or convictions
