Can I apply California nclex application before graduation?

Hi, I'm graduating nursing program in Tennessee on Aug 10,2018.

Im planning to take Nclex in California. Do you know if I can apply it before my graduation date? I know for California nursing program students can apply prior to 2 weeks of graduation. I'm not sure for students who are not from California nursing program.

I really need updated information since they change rules every time. I tried to contact California office but they never answer me :(

I don't see why the time frame would be different. Make sure your school knows which state you're testing in.

California BON rarely answers the phone. When they do, you usually have an hour long wait and they will decline to speak to you unless you've applied for la license at least six weeks prior to your call.

We applied early for our program to meet the deadline of price increase. Either way, i think it would be the same wait. Try talking to your nursing school secretary or the DON. There were certain steps we had to take so please ask for help in case you need clarification.

I talked to my nursing secretary. And they were not sure since the application changed a little (about asking graduation date ...)compared to May application. I guess California application changed a little once they put the price up.
