it is doubtful that you will find an actual assessment of a patient on the internet. people worry about plagiarism. you learn by doing. it's how we all learn these things. you can watch someone ride a bike for hours, but it isn't until you actually get on a bike and ride yourself that you discover all the nuances that you never saw while you were watching someone else.

below are all the links i have on gordon's 11 functional health patterns. you need to understand that this is just a tool and a way to assess patients and gain information as part of the first step of the nursing process (there are 5 steps to the nursing process). what you are ultimately looking for is what is abnormal, or not normal, about this assessment you are doing. why? because what is abnormal becomes the basis for nursing problems which you will re-name as nursing diagnoses (when you get to that part of your nursing course).
