Hello friends,
I graduated in BSN from Asmara University(Eritrea-Africa) in the year 2005 and worked for two years in that field. In the year 2007 i recieved a boarding liscence from that Country and once i get a chance for permanent residence in US, am currently in Charlotte,NC. Recently, i asked for job to one company and they asked me for state liscence to have it.
Please i am looking for your help of getting my liscence and job in a short time peroid.
Thank you.

You are going to have to meet the BON requirements for foreign trained nurse and pass NCLEX before you will be issued a license. You are probably looking at a few months processing times depending on their requirements and all inforation can be found on their website

Hi. You have to fulfill North Carolina's Board of Nursing requirements for foreign educated Nurses. You need to have your credentials assessed by approved agencies. If you will choose CGFNS you have to apply for CES (Nursing Science Course by Course) and have them send your assessment to the Board. After that, you have to apply to take NCLEX-RN. the board does not issue license to individuals without a social security number. Here's the link to the board for internationally educated Nurses:

Good luck!
