Can you count therapy days when not on Medicare.

Here's my question. We admitted a resident under managed care and was receiving therapy through his stay on managed care. A couple of weeks after admission we converted him to Medicare. Day 2 of Medicare stay the resident discovered he has terminal cancer. So day 3 he decides to stop all therapies. In the seven day look back can we count those days/mins of therapy for our 5 day assessment even though 4 of those days he was being covered by managed care and was not on Medicare? Appreciate any input on this.

Therapy days/minutes are included on the assessment, because the assessment must accurately show ALL conditions and treatments in the look-back, but the facility cannot bill any managed care days to Medicare.
