I just finished ALL my core classes YAY! Last semester I had a 4.0 GPA. Here is a breakdown of all the classes I had and the grades I got.
Math-A
English-A
Psychology-A
Diet and Nutrition Therapy-B
Anatomy and Psychology-B
Comp 1000-C
Now with all that, what do you think my chances are of getting accecpted into the LPN program at my school are? A "C" is considered passing for Computers. I would rather take Anatomy again than to take Computers. Does anyone know how to figure out what my current GPA is?

This is a GPA calculator to help. You will need to know the hours/grades for all your other classes too, so you can find your cumulative GPA, not jsut what your GPA was for the semster. Calculate Your GPA
Thank you.

are you still going to mgtc? if so, depending on how many clinical slots they have opened, you have a good chance! remember that at mgtc, they also only count the courses that were required for the program, rather than any other classes you have taken in the past that did not pertain to the lpn program. i got in with a gpa of 3.5 this past semester. i will be crossing my fingers for you! :)
Thank you! How was your first semester of the program? Comp 1000 was a requirement, and that is what I got the C in. I am not going to stress it. I know I did my best. All I can do is take my PSB, and then it's out of my hands. I have to think that, or I will drive myself crazy!:)
You are very welcome Donna! Keeping my fingers crossed! I also had a C in Comp 1000, so don't let it bother you too much! I was registered to retake both A&P to aim for an A and and Comp 1000 for this past semester just in case, and turns out I got my call and didn't have to do that, so I will be hoping the same for you. The first semester was wonderful....overwhelming, but you will learn so much and it's more exciting than anything. Mrs. Sartain is a wonderful instructor! Before the program I felt somewhat intimidated by her, but a few weeks into the semester that wore off, for the most part. Now I have just got to stress on Med/Surg I and II with their clinical over the 8-week summer semester.
