Hello,
I am starting AGPCP, and I have the interest to work in a clinic or hospital setting. I don't mind to work in a long-term facility in future. I noticed AGPCP program is shorter then FNP or Acute care NP. Is there anyone working in a hospital setting or clinic with AGPCP? How is the job market when you graduate?
Thank you, guys!

If you know you want hospital or clinic, aren't you looking for acute care NP work? If you're picking your schooling path based on a shorter program, rather than the work you want to do, are you going to be properly prepared? If the program is longer, there must be a reason and some training you should probably consider. Many places are changing the way they hire NPs, and they are looking for NPs specifically prepared in a field. Although you will find some FNPs and PCNPs in hospitals, it is likely not truly within the scope of their education and training and it's your responsibility to be sure you practice within that scope.
