Can ADN's wear the nursing tassel??

Nurses General Nursing

Hi everyone!

I graduated yesterday with an ADN and I just wanted to share a little confusion I had when I noticed white tassels, designation for nursing, on the caps of some of my friends. The reason I am confused is that some of these friends took these same undergraduate courses with me at the same time and they were walking with these tassels on the day of graduation. Also, it doesn't clear the air that this graduation had ALL departments present, meaning that actual Nursing graduates were present (they were announced as "Graduate x, nursing...) as well. I talked to the counselors about my confusion, and they had to refer me to the the Student Affairs office because they were the ones with the information about what students truly graduated with. I cannot contact them until Monday so my confusion will have to wait LOL. Yes, I did talk to those friends and they were confused on why I asked them 'how did you graduate nursing so early?!!'

I'm not sure what you are asking. You graduated nursing and asked your fellow classmates how they graduated early (with you)?  I'm not sure about the tassel in particular, that may be a school thing. Perhaps your classmates had a distinguished GPA?
