Hello, I have some questions. Has anyone attended camden county college and did their prereqs there? If so did you transfer to a four year college? And do they have any dual admissions with any four year colleges? Thanks in advance.

Yes, I completed my prereqs at Camden County. Originally I was going to go to Helene Fuld, but the RNs in my family strongly urged going to a 4 year to get my BSN. I transferred to La Salle and was able to transfer all of my credits with no issues. They also do have articulation agreements with a lot of 4 year schools - the counselors can help you plan it out. I managed to work it so that I went from 0 to BSN in only 3 years thanks to the CCC counselors! I highly recommend the school and professors; the financial aid dept is pretty awful, though.

Thanks for the reply, and trust I know the Financial aid is awful, They are taking too long to process my financial aid I am trying to hurry up and register for classes before they fill up. Which campus did you attend I am going to the camden city campus any insights on them?

I just completed my last prerequisite course at Camden County last week after starting in May 2011. Since they ended the Helene Fuld nursing program, my original plan was to go through their program with Lourdes. However, I already have a B.A. and decided to pursue an Accelerated program instead. I was accepted into a program at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia and will start in September. I enjoyed all the classes I took there. I took most of my classes in Blackwood, but did have to take my last class (Microbiology) in Camden due to time constraints. I had to pay somewhere around $78 to park in the parking garage, but other than that it really wasn't bad. Everything was very secure and safe, and campus security is around everywhere. I still prefer the Blackwood campus over the Camden campus, but for my 8-week summer class, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.

Thank you for you reply jocy. I would like to go to Thomas Jefferson for nursing, but I won't be finished my prereqs until fall of 2013. The reason why i Chose Camden campus is because I live in Philadelphia, and its right i across the bridge. How for is blackwood campus from camden campus?

I'd say the Blackwood campus is probably at least 25-30 minutes away from the Camden campus, but I've never traveled between the two, so maybe it's not quite that long. I'm not sure if you've ever driven down Route 42, but the Blackwood campus is right off Exit 7B. Would it be cheaper for you to attend a community college in Philadelphia? Or is the Camden campus actually a lot closer to where you live since it's right off the bridge?

I did attend community college of philadelphia, but my financial aid got suspended. Camden campus is actually 8mins from center city I take the 409 bus there. Hopefully I will have a car soon and can commute to blackwood campus.
