Hello all!
I am currently an undergraduate student majoring in the nursing. I am enrolled in a public speaking course. As recognized experts in this field, I would like to conduct an informational interview with you in order to learn more about the importance of drinking water and dehydration.
I know your time is valuable, so I am requesting the interview to be online (more of a questionnaire). The information shared will be for my class that consists of twenty-five students, my professor, and myself. Below are a few questions I would like to ask regarding dehydration and adequate water intake.
I would also appreciate it if you could list your credentials (degree level, title, specialty if applicable, and number of years in practice)
Thank you all for your time,
GL
:)
1.) From a medical and scientific standpoint, why is it so important that we drink a plentiful amount of water?
2.) What are the risks of not drinking adequate amounts of water?
3.) In conducting my research, I have found that as little as 2% of dehydration decreases brain function. Can you elaborate on this matter?
4.) Why is water important for thermoregulation?
5.) What are the benefits of drinking adequate amounts of water?

I've been drinking iced tea since my mother put it in my bottle. I only drink water in my tea. Since I'm from the South I don't recognize water as a drink, only ice tea. The ice is to keep me cool, which I am even at my current age. When I'm really hot and need some thermoregulation I just drink more iced tea. However, that can sometimes be a real pisser.
In my speech class I did a talk on Playboy magazine. I guess your class is not as interesting.
