So Im on here all the time but I never see alot of posting from other PA nurses.
Im in the program for 3 1/2 years and due to relapse now looking at another 3 years. So it would be great to discuss the daily grinds of PNAP/VRP with others in the same boat.
Im kind of surprised honestly because there are thousands of us out there....
Is there another forum they go to or website?? Where are you all? :-)
I am going through something similar. Was entered into PNAP agreement im 2010 but was unable to pay the lab fees as i was getting tested 3x/wk and wasnt allowed to work as a nurse. So it violated my agreement and license suspended. Completed all requirements and 2 mo. Before 3yr term was to end I relapsed......boom! Start from scratch! Did all requirements again and have remained Clean and sober since 2013. Have been eligible since 2016 as soon as i pay lab fees. Well of course everytime I would have the money something major would happen. So here i am nearly another 3yrs later finally paying these lab fees. Am waiting for PNAP to return call to re-open my case. Have spoken to my nursing school instructor and am welcomed back with open arms to audit nclex review as i will have to take boards again. Im hoping there will not be any new hoops as ive worked hard to get where i am today all while keeping utd on nursing. My heart belongs to Nursing or I would have given up long ago and feel the Lord just wanted me to be completely ready. I am undeniably ready. Will post an update when i get that call, prayers appreciated!!

From what I've seen they basically make you start over. I'm not sure about doing the rehab fiasco again but you gotta do the 90 in 90 and go through the work restrictions again. I can't imagine the BS you face. Honestly, I don't think I could do it. I wish you well
