Presently we have laws on place to not hold witnesses associates or otherwise accountable when assisting a victim in crisis of overdosing off opioids like fentanyl. Although this is news we still have serious issues with persons to inject narcan or take people to emergency even to call 911 during a potential crisis. Has anyone had any experience with bystanders or persons who have used this law to protect themselves from criminal convictions of such a situation? I have not personally seen witnessed or come in contact with anyone whose been in this situation I believe the present state is fear. Many people still are afraid of punishment or otherwise in case scenario....thoughts?
