Hello, just wanted to make a forum for Stanislaus State's BSN Program for the Spring 2025 to share stats and application help. Good luck to everyone applying!
Alanna Rueda said:Looking back at the forum for Spring 2024, most got their admissions on Oct 31 and Nov 1, with a deadline to accept on Nov 15. I haven't heard anything from the SON yet, but when I received my original acceptance letter to the school itself, it said I must accept or decline admission by Nov 15. Has anyone accepted or declined without getting an email from the SON yet?
I accepted that original admission without getting an email. I called them earlier and they told me to accept it, but it's important to note that I plan on committing to Stan State whether I get into the BSN program or not. Unfortunately I didn't ask what would happen if I decided to back out of Stan State after Nov 15th, so I would recommend asking them about that if you have the chance.
Also, when I asked about the BSN acceptance letter I was told they'd be sending it out between late Nov-early Dec... very late compared to last Spring for sure.

Hopefully we can receive an update before Thanksgiving at least! If I do not get into the BSN program I am torn between Sac and Stan for my undergrad, so I am conflicted with accepting admission to both. Hopefully we hear some updates soon! It seems to get more competitive every year with all of the CSU's.
I got the email for class registration. I need to reach out to my advisor and see how this will be possible without hearing back from SON yet. I will not be able to accept my alternate major if not accepted to SON, so I would need to withdraw my app. This is scary considering I am expected to sign up for classes next week. Is anyone in a similar situation?

Thank you for that info! I am going to send an email to the person I am supposed to register with to let them know. I don't want to take away class spots from people who will actually be going for my alternate! LOL
I just got an email saying they were unable to admit me because I didn't meet the minimum requirements: missing transcripts ?
I submitted all of my transcripts to the admissions office with confirmation of receipt on September 20th. I replied to the SON with this information, as they said to reply if it may be a mistake.
I worry LOL

I got the same email! I just emailed them back. Are you currently taking any classes? I am I think that might be the issue because they are considered "unofficial " due to missing grades.

Yes, I am taking Microbio right now and it shows in progress on my transcript. I emailed them back and let them know that as well! I have attended other schools out of state too so I worried I was missing something else but I went back to my email and confirmed that admissions received it so I was worried ! LOL
