California State University San Marcos (CSUSM) ABSN - Summer 2025

Published

Hey all!

I'm starting a thread for those of us applying to CSUSM ABSN Summer '25!  I'm working on my application and will be submitting it in the next couple of days. Has anyone submitted and received your evaluation sheet yet?

Please feel free to share your stats!  Good luck everyone!!

has anyone started making their appointments for the required labs? or just waiting for the email? feeling like I should make an appointment already but don't know what exactly for 😅

Has anyone ordered the package on Complio? The package that pops up for me says ABSN49 even though I selected ABSN50 in the drop-down menu.

I ordered the Complio package but I did not have that issue; I was able to get ABSN50. I wonder if it is a glitch?

Hmm... When I input all of the correct information in the drop-down menus and choose ABSN 50 as my Cohort, the bundle package that's available says "New Incoming Students_CSUSanMarcos_ABSN49". I haven't ordered yet because I want to confirm it's the correct one.

I had this issue! But I purchased anyway and it has since then corrected itself. It only says ABSN50 in my purchase history, not 49.  I'm pretty sure it was some sort of glitch.

Also, everyone make sure to use your school email address as the primary address for complio! This is how they will track us to make sure we made the purchase on time! I almost used my personal email until I reread the instructions on the student site.

🙂

I haven't received an evaluation and an admissions decision so far. Am I doomed?

I worked so hard... I have received only 1 B in my science pre-reqs

When did you apply? Also, do you know how many points you anticipate on receiving based off of their point criteria?

I'd say its around 32~35. Is this on the low side?

I have applied last year in December.

Based on the 2024 Summer cohort stat, 32 was the lowest score accepted. I wouldn't say 32-35 points is necessarily low but based of the past stats those points are usually the cut offs.

For the Summer 2025 cohort, the deadline to apply was mid-November so if you applied in December you missed the Summer application but you should've at least gotten an eval sheet for fall 2025. You might want to call or email them to see what's going on.

Also to add on, fall semesters are typically more competitive so 32-35 point range is lower.

Thank you so much for your reply!

It was late December I sent in my application. Sorry my memory got off there.

I remember studying so hard for the science pre-reqs. I just hope there is at least a chance.

Oh sorry late October. Not December.

Whether December or late October, definitely reach out to them because you should've at least gotten your evaluation.

If for whatever reason you don't get in, they do keep your application for 1 year and you are re-entered into the next semester cohort's application pool. I know it costs money and time and I don't know your stats but maybe you could try to retake the TEAS or retake the class you got a B in to help raise your overall application points. I personally retook the TEAS and it raised my score by 5 points.

Good luck to you!

Thanks for your kind words. I like how CSUSM keeps application for 1 year and applies a fair point system.
Seeing how you retook the TEAS exam. I imagine you went thru a lot. What was your score?

Congrats on your acceptance!
