Hello everyone, I am hoping to get into the CSUSM ABSN 2024 Summer Cohort. Please use this forum to share your scores and ask any questions!
I have 35 points and have been in consideration since the Fall 2023 Cohort. Fingers crossed for this one. If not, I'll be reapplying and probably retake a couple classes to improve my score. It has been more competitive this year, the scores took a real jump.
It makes me feel better that there's a community of hopefuls just like me!
Best of luck to everyone!

And again, congrats to you all! So happy and excited for you.
I haven't heard of that program but I would say do what makes most sense for you financially. Congrats on getting into both though!
Congratulations on everyone getting in, I look forward to meeting and getting to work with you all in the Summer!
Congrats everyone!! I saw my status had changed to admitted so I went ahead & submitted the intent to enroll deposit, buuuuut I'm still waiting for the official email. Is anyone in the same boat? With the acceptance email, did y'all get anything else like the instructions to complete the background check + drug test? I'm a bit anxious and would like to schedule those ASAP, but can't do it until I get the acceptance email. ?

Congrats on getting in!! I don't know anything about PCC's ADN program, but their NCLEX pass rate is solid! https://www.RN.ca.gov/education/passrates.shtml. If finance is something you're taking into consideration, I would go with PCC's ADN program since it's a fraction of the cost. The main difference between an ADN and BSN program is the leadership courses you take in BSN programs. You'll be prepared to take the NCLEX to be an RN either way ? If you're based in Pasadena, I would suggest the ADN program from a financial standpoint. SD City College's ADN program was my first choice because of location/ cost/overall program (98% NCLEX pass rate), but I wasn't accepted so again, congrats on getting in!! CC programs are mad competitive.

After my status changed to admitted, I received the email the next day so you should be getting It soon. And no in the email all it says is to send your intent to enroll deposit, then a few days after that you will receive a pop up on your account that you have to look over and sign for or something. At the end of the email it said that information about orientation, background check, and drug test will be emailed to us in the coming weeks.

Admitted too! Never received the admission email because I submitted intent to enroll even before emails were sent out. I have no idea about the "pop-up.” It never showed up and it has been days since I submitted deposit. But I did receive an email about campus student email.
I just went ahead and scheduled appointment with Dr. to get tests done. You can check out the Health Complio Policy to see what tests are needed.

I did the same. Saw the status changed and immediately submitted deposit. School said I won't be receiving admission email since I submitted intent to enroll before the system could generate the email ?.
