UPDATE: Changes: New Log In Requirement

Hi everyone! With the application window coming to a close soon, I figured I'd make a discussion for the current CSUN ABSN admissions cycle. 

I haven't heard back. Only seen one person say they've been accepted

Thank you! This is my first time applying but I decided to go to a community college instead just cause it's a lot cheaper.

Got my acceptance email today at 5:05pm!! First time applicant as well

Hi! I was offered admission two days ago and just accepted. They had requested a video interview about three weeks ago.

Admittedly, I was surprised they offered me admission because I didn't feel like I was a strong candidate on paper - 3.24 undergrad GPA (3.85 in science/math pre-reqs this time around). No healthcare experience, but hundreds of hours volunteering with addiction recovery organizations as well as a phlebotomy license in progress. When initially applying, I also had even neglected to mention that I volunteer in an ER every week. It wasn't until the video interview that I mentioned that. 

Still in shock, but so grateful. I can't wait to meet all of you guys this Spring!

Does anyone know when the next steps (post-admission) will begin? I was accepted to another school as well and they had me complete everything - vaccines, titers, drug testing, background checks - ASAP. When do you think CSUN will have us start that process?
