California State University, Los Angeles (CSULA) - Fall 2025, traditional BSN

Published

Hi everyone! I wanted to start a thread for those who applied to the Fall 2025 cycle at CSULA's traditional BSN program. Feel free to share stats and ask any questions so we can help each other out!

To start off, here are my stats:

  • 4.0 overall
  • 4.0 science GPA
  • 140 volunteer hours (includes patient interaction)
  • 90% overall TEAS
  • local preference - I'm a transfer student!

Thank you lotsamatcha for starting this thread 🙂

Here are my stats applying:

  • 4.0 overall GPA
  • 4.0 science GPA
  • 88% on TEAS
  • took nutrition, psych, & sociology (recommended for CSULA)
  • Working as an OA/receptionist at a private doctors office since April 2024 w/ well over 500+ hours (hoping it gives me an edge since my work contracts with the NP Program at CSULA for clinical hours)
  • local preference - transfer student from a CSU & a resident of LA

Good luck to everyone applying. Hope to see you all in the Fall ❤️

Hi, mxilanc! Thanks for sharing your stats! I didn't know that being a med receptionist counted towards clinical hours for the NP Program, tysm for sharing that info! If you're comfy, do you want to exchange insta's to keep each other updated on admissions?

My IG is the same as my username here, just DM me!

And to clarify: What I mean by clinical hours is that my work contracts with CSULA for NP students. What I do for work doesn't count towards that. I submitted a letter of rec/work hours that was signed off by my office manager who works with the clinical placement coordinator of CSULA.

Im hoping that the affiliation with my work and CSULA will give me a better chance of being accepted (hopefully LOL).

Ohh I see, thanks for clarifying! I can see how that'll give you a big advantage for the apps, I wish you luck 🫶🏼

Does anyone's GET say Admitted instead of Incomplete?

Mine also says admitted. Trying not to be too too hopeful cause I didn't get an email or anything

Yes! Mine says admitted, but I'm not sure if it's nursing or for my alternate. Fingers crossed.

Just got an email ---- rejected 😭
